One man is dead and another two have been taken to hospital and after an ATV rolled over yesterday afternoon.
Paramedics and Rescue Helicopter responded to an ATV rollover on Quaids Road at 3.49pm yesterday (June 11) about seven kilometres east of the Mulligan Highway.
Queensland Ambulance reported that a male in his 20s was treated for critical injuries at the scene however sadly was declared deceased.
Two other patients, a male and a female, with minor injuries were transported stable to Mareeba Hospital.
Forensic Crash Unit officers are now investigating.
The Mareeba accident was the second ATV Accident in the state after Paramedics, including Critical Care, attended another ATV rollover at Elimbah, halfway between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
One male patient in his 20s was transported to Caboolture Hospital in a stable condition with a head laceration whilst another male in his 20s was transported in a serious but stable condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with a significant lower leg injury.
