The Electoral Commission of Queensland has formally announced the 2020 local government elections.
The Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) has formally announced the 2020 local government elections.
Election day will be Saturday 28 March 2020, even though the date has been known for a while, this is the formal announcement of the date as well as the formal announcement for the following:
The close of the electoral roll is this Friday 28 February 2020.
The close of nominations for candidates is Tuesday 3 March at 12:00pm.
