A dour first half of the grand final between MCR and Edge Hill as both teams cancelled each other out.
Neither of the goal keepers were tested in the first half as they went into the break goalless.
The second half started just as the first one finished, but in the seventeenth minute MCR struck from a set piece through Diego Piquerez to go 1-0 up.
The runaway premiers were on the ropes as MCR came to life and threatened to come away with the game against the run of play.
Jesse Casson equalized for the tigers with 10 minutes remaining to make it 1-1
And before the crowd calmed down Ari Isman popped up to put the Tiger 2-1up and that’s how the match ended. The 2019 premiers are also the grand final winners defeating Marlin Coast ranger 2-1.
