CAR owners start your engines, the Atherton Men’s Shed will once again be holding its annual Cruise-In on Friday, May 7.

The Cruise-In will allow anyone, members and non-members, to join in for some fun at the Men’s Shed to show off their classic and vintage cars.

The popular car show has been hosted by John Whyte, who is said to be the ‘driving force’ behind the event. The event is open to the wider community, with free entry and a BBQ available at the venue.

The cruise has been running since 2016 and hosted by Men’s Shed President Paul Jones this year.

“The Men’s Shed will allow people to bring their cars to show off, there are no restrictions, all cars are welcome,” Mr Jones said.

“We usually get up to 400 people to come along and 70 cars, anyone is able to come along.

“We love to see everyone come along and enjoy the evening with us.”

The Cruise in starts at 5.30pm and ends at 8pm at the Atherton Men’s Shed at 2 Railway Lane, Atherton.
