WITH the Rotary FNQ Field Days just months away, the search is on for an outstanding photo to feature on the cover of their official exhibitor guide.

The Biennial event is putting the call out to local photographers, professional or amateur, to submit their best rural or agricultural image for the 2021 cover competition.

Rotary FNQ Field Days committee chair Trevor Duncan said that the competition aims to encompass the Field Days and our region.

“We’re trying to find something that personifies the rural aspect and the local aspect of the Field Days,” he said.

“The last guide photo was perfect because it showed the old tractor and the young boy, the future of farming.”

The guide is jammed packed with key-info, maps, information, articles and profiles about the largest field days event in Northern Australia.

Industry professionals and agricultural tycoons all visit Kerribee Park at the end of May for the massive three-day event selling their products and their stories.

Mr Duncan said that this year the exhibition sales have already passed expectations.

“Our exhibitor bookings are massive, we had a huge uptake of sites when we released them early November last year,” he said.

“We ended up putting in another row of big sites because they had all sold out.

“This indicates this year will be bigger compared to past years.”

Photos are required to be of high resolution and in portrait to fit on the guide.

The photo competition closes on April 1, so get out there and behind the lens for your chance to feature your photo on the cover for all to see. Email your entry to officialguide@fnqfielddays.org.au
