New park full steam ahead
A NEW park at Tolga is taking shape and locals are getting their first look at the centre-piece of the playground.
The new park will include an all-ability playground, and multi-sport court which will support futsal and basketball.
The train and flying fox have been installed and more playground equipment will arrive this week. The turf went down last week and sand should arrive soon. The soft fall will then be installed, followed by painting and landscaping.
Work commenced in late October 2021. The $583,000 capital works project is being undertaken by Tablelands Regional Council, assisted by funding through the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
