THE chance to mix poolside cocktails with awesome live music is drawing closer with Friday and Saturday non-accommodation locals tickets to the much-anticipated Savannah Summer series pool party at the Novotel Cairns Oasis now on sale.

The April 23-24 party will be headlined by ever popular Aussie favorites Thirsty Merc and country artist Adam Brand with Eurogliders, Liam Brew, The Road Trippers and Dee Jaye Bux also set to rock the event.

Local day tickets cost $70 and includes festival entry, while a two-day ticket is $120 - both offers excludes accommodation.

Ticket holders can look forward to 18 hours of music, a swim-up bar and cocktail garden.

A tantalising array of pop-up food stalls will also be on site, including a charcoal satay hut, noodle bar and low and slow smoked meats.

“We can’t wait for the Savannah Summer Series pool party at the Novotel,” event promoter James Dein said.

“This event will be a brilliant prelude to our main event in Mareeba in October, when the best country artists in Australia will head to Far North Queensland for Savannah in the Round.”

Novotel general manager Scott Grant said he hopes to see as many Mareeba and Tablelands residents at the event as possible.

“We can’t wait to welcome visitors from right across Queensland not least of all our highly welcomed ticket holders in Mareeba and right through The Tablelands,” he said.

“This is a really unique event and one we’re really proud to be a part of.”

Friday’s April 23rd action kicks off from 2pm until 10pm, while Saturday’s festivities will begin from midday and wrap up at 10pm.
