LAST Tuesday members of the Soroptimist International of the Tropical Tablelands (SITT) invited Lesa Moro, the Days for Girls Mareeba Team Leader to assist SITT with their ‘Days for Girls Kits’.

The ‘Days for Girls Kits’ are designed to provide girls and women in developing countries with reusable menstrual hygiene kits.

These kits give them the independence to leave their homes to attend school or participate in the workforce.

Following dinner the ladies assembled 25 kits with Lesa’s guidance.

To find out more, join the Days for Girls Mareeba Facebook page or contact Lesa on 0419 741 101 for more information.
