LATE last month Alice Street Dental in Atherton opened their doors and welcomed in veterans within the community for a free dentist appointment.

The first annual Free Dentistry Day was held to give back to those in the community who have put their lives on the lines for our safety in foreign countries.

The staff at the dentist volunteered their time to provide as much care and treatment as possible.

Alice Street Dental Practice Manager Natalie Eakin said that this was just her way of giving back in the best way she knew how.

“This was our small way of saying thank you for the incredible sacrifice that comes with having proudly served our great nation,” she said.

“We are very proud to have been able to offer this service to aid and serve our community.”
