It’s that time of year for Mareeba and the Tablelands; there is an undeniable buzz of excitement in the air as the annual agricultural shows and Mareeba Rodeo roll into town.
We here at The Express are excited and we want to pass that excitement onto some of our lucky followers. We currently have not one, not two but THREE separate Facebook competitions running for your chance to get your hands on some free tickets.

THE 2019 DAIRY FARMERS MALANDA SHOW
The 2019 Dairy Farmers Malanda show is the first to kick off on Friday July 5 and runs over three days winding up on July 7. Malanda show is one not to be missed, there will be plenty to see and do for all age groups from the bright lights of the sideshow alley and thrilling rides to the equestrian events, giant pumpkin competition, dairy and beef cattle exhibits and animal nursery just to name a few.

THE 2019 ATHERTON SHOW
The 2019 Atherton show is the next on the cards being held on July 8 and 9. There will be plenty to excitement with the fireworks and laser show one event not to be missed. The two days will be jam packed with events from The Rooftop Express Wild West Arena Spectacular to headlining to the extensive trade sites as well as the equestrian events and live music featuring locals from across the region. Just like the Malanda show sideshow alley and thrilling rides are sure to be a favourite of many. We have two family passes to give away plus a sheet of 30 bonus ride tickets to each child. Each pass is valued at a whopping $160!!!

THE 2019 MAREEBA RODEO
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Mareeba Rodeo. This year’s jam packed weekend kicks off on the Saturday 13 at Kerribee Park. A long-time favourite event of locals and out of town visitors, you will not want to miss this event. There will be a jam pack program of the usual rodeo events, the fan favourite state of origin event as well as the fun and excitement of the sideshow alley and ride and the famous woodchops. We are excited to be giving away three family weekend passes to give away every Friday leading up to the big event.
