As part of our tenth birthday celebrations, we are looking for the best of the Tablelands and for the past week we have been taking your votes on the best Fish and Chips

After hundreds of votes, The Tablelands have spoken and you voted the "Cottage Café" at Tolga the best Fish and chips on the Tablelands as part of The Express Newspapers "Best of the Tablelands."

Owner of the cafe Josh Wallace said “he was pretty overwhelmed to win this award, it's been a massive 12 months”

Last year Josh was also a finalist in the Employer of Choice awards at the Tablelands Business Excellence Awards.

Josh said staying local is the key to his success “we only use local and Australian products and we try to remain consistent with our friendly service and our quality food”

”I also want to thanks my eight local and friendly staff and also our loyal customers who have supported us for the past 7 years”
