Multiple business owner Lauren Channells is excited to finally get her photography business off the back burner and reopen her services after some COVID-19 restrictions were lifted.

Lauren operates both her photography business; Lauren Channells Photography and Tableland Auto Electrics which has still be running during the pandemic.

Maternity, family and newborn photos are the majority of what Lauren's photography business focuses on.

Lauren saw a decline in business straight away when COVID-19 struck down in Australia and only did little outdoor shoots with people she already knew.

She is excited to be back doing what she loves after she officially reopened last week.

“It feels absolutely amazing to get back to work,” Lauren said.

“I missed having a routine so it will be good to settle back into one.

“I love what I do and I can’t wait to get back to it.”

While Lauren's photography business has been on the back burner she had been focusing on keeping her staff employed at Tableland Auto Electrics.

Although business has been slow she has been able to keep the shop open and keep her staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“My focus has been on keeping all my staff employed, I only put two new people on just before this all started,” she said.

“Keeping our staff was very important.

“It takes a long time to find brilliant staff so we didn’t want to let them go so easily.”
