Search called off for tablelands doctor
Police have now called of the search for missing tableland doctor, Richard Thomas after final efforts on Saturday.
Police have now called of the search for missing tableland doctor, Richard Thomas after final efforts on Saturday.
A rescue helicopter conducted a sweep of the area off the coast of Innisfail near where the 55-year-old’s fishing boat was found abandoned, but produced no results.
After consultation with the man’s family, the decision has been made to suspend the search.
Police would like to thank emergency service personnel and volunteers for their assistance during this time
