Takuro Stevens hasn’t had a haircut in over seven years. Last time he cut he hair was for Shave for a cure in 2013. After complaining to his wife how hot he was, he is set to shave off his hair again for a good cause “My wife actually prefers to me with long hair, but after all my complaining she said ‘why not shave it off again’”

Takuro is shaving off his hair at the BWS drive through in Atherton on the March 13 “We are going to do it at 1 pm, so people can pop in, grab a sausage sizzle and watch me get my head shaved”

“I raised $500 dollars for Shave for a cure in 2013 and I would like to beat that amount this time”

Takuro’s children will also be in for a shock “My seven-year-old son has never seen me without long hair, so it’s going to be an interesting experience for him”

“I’ve measured my hair in a plat and it is 40 cm from hair tie to hair tie, it hangs down to my belly button and I will also be donating my hair.”

Tukuro said he is raising money as one of his friends was diagnosed with Leukaemia 20 years ago “At the time I couldn’t do anything to help, I felt quite hopeless, but now I can do something, so I’m hoping to raise as much money as I can for the Leukaemia Foundation”

Takuro's shave will take place at BWS Atherton, 90 Main Street at 1 pm. With a gold coin donation to watch and gold coin donation for a Sausage sandwich with meat donated by Cross Custom Meats.
