The 2020 St Stephen’s Catholic College swimming carnival was held on February 25, and saw many long standing records broken by this year’s swimmers.

The 2020 St Stephen’s Catholic College swimming carnival was held on February 25, and saw many long standing records broken by this year’s swimmers.

Chloe Donovan, Ned Donovan, Sara Donavan and Marlon Bellero all broke records set by the previous swimmers over the years.

Ned Donovan broke the 15 year old boys 50m Backstroke, Breaststroke Freestyle and Butterfly records, beating the old Butterfly record by 1.14 seconds.

Sara Donovan broke the open girls 50m Breaststroke by 1.44 seconds, while her younger sister Chloe broke the 13 year old Butterfly and Breaststroke records, beating the old Breaststroke record by a whopping 3.14 seconds.

Marlon Bellero broke the 13 year old boys 50m Freestyle and Butterfly records, beating the old butterfly record by 1 second.

Deacon house also smashed the 15 year old boys 4 x 50m Relay by a massive 17.51 seconds and helped them to win the swimming carnival.
