Teen cops stack of charges
A HIGH risk offender has been nabbed by the Tablelands Property Crime Unit and charged with 25 offences following a string of incidents in the Atherton area recently.

A 17-year-old boy was charged with 25 offences after he allegedly stole a vehicle and set it ablaze, was involved in a fuel drive-off, assaulted a 60-year-old woman, and dangerously drove towards police.
It will be alleged that between 26-27 May the boy stole a white Toyota Hilux from Atherton, which was reportedly involved in a fuel drive-off at an Atherton service station and later found burned and abandoned at Irvinebank.
Days later, on 31 May, the boy allegedly broke into a Tower Avenue, Atherton address and threatened a 60-year-old woman before assaulting her and fleeing.
On Wednesday 3 June the boy was allegedly involved in an incident where a stolen vehicle was driven dangerously towards police on Viola Street, Atherton.
Police arrested the teenager last Thursday in Woree and allege he was connected to even more offences in Atherton and the wider Tablelands area. He was further charged with offences relating to attempted burglary, attempted armed robbery, vehicle theft, unlicenced driving and drug-related offences.
He was refused bail and was scheduled to face the Cairns Magistrates Court last Friday.
