Season’s Greetings Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
WHAT a year it has been! I am so proud of what our community and our Council has achieved in the last 12 months.

From the excitement and celebration of the Cooktown and Cape York Expo to the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, our community constantly inspires me with their passion, creativity and ability to adapt.
We have some incredibly exciting developments coming that will improve our economy, business and work opportunities, so the future for our Shire is sound.
For now, though, we all deserve this break and the chance to spend time with our family and loved ones. Thank you for the year that was and have a safe and happy Christmas.
