Thousands of people from across Queensland have coverged on Mareeba for the bi-annual Rotary FNQ Field Days including Ron Ahlers and Wayne Finch.

Mr Ashlers has taken the trip from Sunnymaunt Station just outside of Dimbulah while Mr Finch has travelled from his Cape York station for the event.

Attendees of every field days event since the inaugural event the two farmers enjoy seeing what new ideas and equipment is on display each year.

“I attend the cattle sector mainly and all the new machinery,” Mr Ahlers said.

“There is plenty here and plenty to see,” Mr Finch added.

Today marks the second day of the Rotary FNQ Field days with still plenty more to see and experience.
