Mareeba named grand final winners
MAREEBA third grade has emerged both minor and major premiers after their last Cricket Far North (CFN) finals match up against rivals Barron River was called off due to wet weather.

The champions travelled down the hill to Griffiths Park for the second game of the finals, after a dominating win in their first match up at home.
Despite the efforts of the groundsman and home side, the weather was unrelenting, and the game ended up being called off, crowning Mareeba the CFN third grade major premiers for 2022.
