The Northern Pride will be playing a trial match against the Cairns Foley Shield side, raising money to support Nate Moule on Saturday February 15.
Last year Nate underwent seven weeks of radiation therapy late last year to treat his brain tumour.
Nate has been under the care of world renowned neurosurgeon Dr Charlie Teo who has operated on him numerous times since his diagnosis of a brain tumour in October 2018.
Nate had a follow up scan recently in Brisbane which revealed a reoccurrence of his tumour.
Nates mother, Katie Moule has thanked the community for their unwavering support for Nate.
“Mareeba has been fantastic to us,” she said.
“They just keep helping and rallying around us.
“We want to thank everyone in the community.”
A gold coin donation will be taken at the gate to help support Nate and his family.
