Traineeship up for grabs
AN exciting opportunity awaits for someone in Mareeba who is seeking a paid traineeship.
Gulf Savannah NRM has opened applications for a Work Skills Trainee position to be based in Mareeba.
The position is considered to be ideal for someone returning to the workforce or a recent school leaver.
The position will allow the trainee to kickstart a career in natural resource management and improve their skill set with opportunities to work in biodiversity, agriculture, IT, communications, admin and more.

There are options for full-time or flexible part-time hours and the position is a fixed term contract until the end of June 2024. The traineeship is funded through the Skilling Queenslanders for Work program.
