Step into history

A HOST of great live music including Wilson, Littmus Steampunk Band, Now or Never, JC and The Tree, Sligo, will create a great vibe at the Pioneer Weekend to be held at Herberton Historic Village this Saturday and Sunday.

The entertainment just keeps getting better, with favourite activities such as Pioneer Fashions on the Field, live demonstrations, tin panning, children’s games, wood turning, a petting zoo, blacksmithing and the running of turn-of-the-century steam powered engines.

 Another highlight will be the rides between the historic village and the Herberton Railway Station on the recently commissioned steam train operated by the Atherton Herberton Historic Railway.
