A generous donation
A MAREEBA business recently donated a large sum of money to a local animal refuge following an article in The Express that brought to light how overrun these local rescue centres are.
The generous act saw Andrew Ford (pictured left) from Mareeba Toyota donate $2,000 to the Mareeba Animal Refuge. The refuge staff took to Facebook to thank Mr Ford and Mareeba Toyota. “We are beyond grateful to Mareeba Toyota for their incredibly generous donation…,” the post read. “From the bottom of our hearts (and paws), thank you for being part of our rescue mission.”
