A night of netball fun
A FUN night of social netball will be held next weekend to celebrate the re-opening of Mareeba Netball’s newly upgraded facility and fundraise for the club’s 2026 representative teams.
The Mareeba Netball Association is inviting locals to grab their mates, or get a work or club team together, and dress up in eccentric or fun clothing for its upcoming mixed social netball night.
Participants will need to gather a team of seven players, with a maximum of 2-3 men on the court at a time. Games will be played in a round robin setting, with prizes on offer for the best dressed team.
The event is set to kick off at 4.30pm next Saturday, with the first games beginning at 5.30pm. There club’s canteen will be available to purchase food from on the night.
There is a cost of $10 per player, which can be paid upon entry, however, players must be at least 13 years of age.
