Armed robbery charges
TWO teenagers have been arrested in relation to an armed robbery in Mareeba last week.

Detectives from the Tablelands Property Crime Unit are appealing for public assistance after a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were arrested on 23 March.
Police allege that around 4.45am, the boys approached a woman in a vehicle on Haren Street, before using two sledgehammers to smash the windows.
The boys allegedly threatened the woman and demanded her car keys, before she drove away. Police further allege the culprits fled on foot.
The boys were arrested at Mareeba addresses on the afternoon of 23 March, and the morning of 24 March.
The 16-year-old Mareeba boy was charged with one count each of attempted robbery – use/threaten violence armed, wilful damage, and enter premises with intent to commit.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Mareeba Children’s Court on 30 April.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam at Haren Street around 4am and 4.45am on 23 March.
