Awards for exporters now open
RETURNING for the 35th year, the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Queensland’s $134.7 billion export industry, with applications for the 14 national categories and an award for Women in International Business now open.

Winners will be announced in Brisbane at an awards dinner on 10 October and will represent Queensland at the Australian Export Awards in Canberra in November.
Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training Ros Bates said the awards celebrated the passion, resilience and ingenuity of Queensland businesses succeeding on the global stage.
“Large or small, I urge Queensland businesses to step into the spotlight and apply for this year’s Export Awards,” she said.
Exporters can download the applicant handbook and apply online. Assistance is available from Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) by emailing exportawards@tiq.qld.gov.au.
Nominations close on Friday, 13 June, with finalists announced in late July.
