A COMMUNITY barbecue with guest speakers and giveaways will be held for International Men’s Day this Wednesday in Mareeba.

Organised by Mareeba Community Centre (MCC), the event is men and boys in the community and will feature a barbecue, guest speakers, a yarning circle, and some giveaways.

It will be held to celebrate International Men’s Day (IMD), which highlights the positive value men bring to the world, their families, and communities. The event will be held at Anzac Park, along Mareeba’s main street, from 2pm-4pm.
