Be entertained at parklands opening
THE official opening of Priors Creek Parklands will feature a mix of live entertainment, markets, food, and family activities.
To be held on 10-11 July, Friday includes the civic ribbon cutting and opening ceremony, sunset markets, local performances, SOS: The Australian ABBA Tribute Show and a fireworks display.
Families will have even more reason to head to parklands on Saturday, with a full daytime program of children’s entertainment, activities, markets and food.
Marvellous Miss Mary and Zippity Zac will be among the highlights of the morning, bringing their Marvellous Kids Zone to Priors Creek Parklands with craft, bubble arts, music play, face painting, temporary tattoos and plenty of colourful, interactive fun for younger visitors.
They will be joined by Library Storytime, Fitness in the Parklands, market stalls, food vendors and more across the morning and early afternoon.
The events will be held between 8am and 1pm, then evening entertainment resumes from 5pm and the 70s and 80s Spectacular begins at 6.30pm.
