Beware of fireworks

WITH show season in full swing, pet owners are being urged to keep their "furry friends" secure with fireworks expected at 8.30pm tonight in Atherton.

WITH show season in full swing, pet owners are being urged to keep their furry friends secure with fireworks expected at 8.30pm tonight in Atherton. 

Although aesthetic to the human eye, fireworks are known to cause distress in pets, with many escaping from properties and getting lost across town. 

Fireworks begin at 8.30pm tonight and are expected to last for up to half an hour.
