Big day of racing fun awaits
A BIG day of racing and fashion awaits patrons this Saturday at the Morrow Park racecourse at Tolga.
The Atherton Turf Club’s “Ladies and Tradies” race day will kick off at 11am for a great afternoon filled with fashion and fast horses.
The five-race card starts at 1pm, with fashion categories decided throughout the afternoon including Boys and Girls (0-12 years), Young Lady of the Day (13-29 years), Gentleman of the Day (13 years plus), Lady of the Day (30-49 years), Golden Lady of the Day (50 years plus) and the People’s Choice award.
Judging the fashions will be Keoni Kidner, Jacki Crosby and Rebecca Conlan.
To keep the crowd entertained, there will also be a Wheelbarrow Race around 2.30pm, and the Apprentices Foot Race around 4pm.
There will also be a live auction, entertainment, a licensed bar, hot food and cold drinks and bookies onsite.
General entry for adults is $15, pensioners $10 and kids 0-17 years of age get in free.
