The “Book Angels” campaign has been founded by author Crystal Leonardi, who was motivated by her son’s brain cancer diagnosis in 2020. She hopes to raise $5000

for the campaign this year to provide 500 books to kids in hospitals.
“Book Angels” funds the production and distribution of her book “My Brother
Sebastian” which explains cancer to primary school-aged kids in a safe, loving, and supportive way.

Led by Kairi Prep/1 teacher Sandi Stewart-Troncone, the Tropical
Games Night will be held at the school from 5pm. Phone 4089 3777 or email
admin@kairiss.eq.edu.au to buy tickets for the event and raffles.

Entry is $5 per person. To donate to Book Angels, go to Crystal’s website www.crystalleonardi.com
