Boxing Day fun at the races
THE annual Sportsbet Mareeba Turf Club Boxing Day Races is the perfect place to be after a big Christmas Day.
The event will feature five-race card, with two bars, additional food vendors, live music by Careless, and a water jumping castle for the kids.
“Picnic Polo” will be theme of the event’s Fashions on the Field competition which is always highly competitive.
The club will be offering a mini-bus service for patrons, with pickups starting from 11am outside Bendigo Bank and drop-offs back in town later in the evening. The cost is $5 per person per trip (paid directly to the driver).
