The action kicks off on Thursday night when the GNBS gets set to deliver another spectacular show at Savannah in the Round. Last year’s event drew a crowd of around 5,000 people, creating an electric atmosphere for both bullrider and spectator alike.

The arena action will begin at 7pm at the Mareeba Rodeo Grounds (Kerribee Park). Those interested can purchase a “Thursday Only” ticket from the festival website by visiting www.savannahintheround.com.au/tickets/2026-festival-camping-tickets

Meanwhile, the southern Tablelands is gearing up for one of its biggest annual events, with the highly anticipated Malanda Bull Ride expected to draw yet another large crowd.

Both events will have food vendors and a bar service operating, as well as live music following all the action. Check event websites for more information.
