Bulls celebrate a stellar season at presentation night
THE Mareeba United Football Club, affectionately known as The Bulls, capped off another thrilling year with a lively end-of-season presentation night on Saturday.

Players, coaches, families and supporters packed the venue to celebrate the club’s achievements, recognise individual excellence, and reflect on another strong year for football on the Tablelands.
Club president Angelo Tatti opened the evening by commending everyone involved for their hard work and commitment throughout the 2025 season.
“This year has been one of growth, passion and pride,” he said.
“The Bulls spirit continues to shine through our players, coaches, and the incredible support of the Mareeba community.”
Among the night’s top honours was Ladies Player of the Year which was awarded to Teisha Potts for her outstanding consistency, leadership and contribution both on and off the field.
In the men’s division, Dillan Cummings claimed Men’s Player of the Year, recognised for his determination, skill and impact throughout the season.
Rising star Zach Marinelli was named Junior Player of the Year, acknowledging his impressive development and promising future within the Bulls’ junior ranks.
The Rising Star Awards went to Isaac Thompson and Maya Taudevin, both praised for their enthusiasm, improvement and commitment to the game throughout the year.
The prestigious Best and Fairest awards were presented to players who embodied the true Bulls spirit through dedication, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Rick Cummings took home the honour for Reserve Grade, Kiyah Iacutone claimed the Ladies Best and Fairest, and Darcey McCormack earned the Premier Division Best and Fairest for his consistent leadership and performance across the season.
A highlight of the evening came when club president Angelo Tatti was inducted as the club’s 21st Life Member, recognising his years of service, leadership and unwavering dedication to Mareeba United. His induction was met with a standing ovation from players and supporters alike.
With laughter, applause and heartfelt moments shared throughout the night, the event marked a fitting celebration of a club that continues to grow stronger each year.
As the Bulls look ahead to 2026, they remain committed to fostering young talent, building community pride, and carrying forward the enduring spirit of Mareeba United Football Club.
