Bulls proactive ahead of next season
COACHES Victor Madrid and Christian Mukadi will continue to lead the men’s and women’s teams respectively for the Mareeba United Football Club in the 2026 season.

The club was eager to lock in the coaches for another year following a solid season of player development. Also announced was the re-signing of Allan Prizmic as coach of the U23 men’s side.
Club president Angelo Tatti said the early announcement reflects the club’s proactive approach and commitment to continued growth across its programs.
“We’re pleased to confirm Victor and Christian in their roles for 2026,” Tatti said.
“Both have shown great leadership and passion for their teams, and this early appointment gives them the best opportunity to plan, recruit, and develop their players for another successful year.
“2025 was a good year for both the men’s and women’s sides, and we’re looking forward to a bigger and better 2026.”
Men’s head coach Victor Madrid said he was grateful for the confidence shown by the club, and he’s excited to continue the progress made in 2025.
“It’s a great feeling to have the full backing of the club,” he said.
“The early announcement gives everyone – players, staff, and supporters – clarity and stability heading into 2026. It allows us to plan properly, build continuity, and keep raising standards on and off the field.”
Reflecting on last season, Madrid said consistency and preparation were key lessons.
“2025 was a year of growth and reflection. We learned the importance of consistency in preparation, performance, and mindset,” he said.
“We’ve laid strong foundations, and now it’s about turning potential into results.”
Women’s head coach Christian Mukadi said he appreciated the club’s early support and focus on long-term development.
“It’s a great initiative by the club to prioritise continuity,” he said.
“Having that level of support shows belief in the work that’s been done so far and allows us to plan ahead with purpose.
“2025 was a big year of growth for both players and coaches. Trust and communication were crucial, lessons we’ll carry strongly into 2026.
“I’m looking forward to bringing more women and young girls into the sport and helping place Mareeba United among the top women’s teams in the region.”
The Bulls will host a player meet and greet open to all current, returning, and prospective senior men’s and women’s players on 23 November. For more information, message the club’s Facebook page at Mareeba United Football Club.
