Card makes gifting easier
IT’S seen as just the thing for local shoppers who are stuck about what to buy this Christmas, and with pre-Christmas shopping time quickly running out, it’s a proven winner.

Mareeba Chamber of Commerce and progressive local traders have made Christmas gifting a whole lot easier with this year’s “Buy Local this Christmas” Gift Card, the ideal gift for that family member or friend who is hard to buy for.
“Mareeba Chamber Gift Cards can be obtained from participating businesses, and this gives the recipient heaps of choices to obtain something they really need at the time from the 20 participating local businesses,” Mareeba Chamber of Commerce’s executive officer Ebony Faichney said.
“The reality is that the Chamber Gift Card recipient’s choice is amazing, with a great diversity of participating stores, ranging from retail, health and entertainment.
“Increasingly, online shopping from out of area retailers is resulting in online buyers getting products that are not necessarily represented in imagery or available sizes etc.
“People who buy locally or have obtained a Mareeba Chamber Gift Card can see, feel and try products for size and out of town online areas cannot provide that, and so often have little, if any, purchaser support after the order has been placed,” she added.
Mareeba gift cards can be obtained from Mareeba Chamber of Commerce, QITE, Mareeba Heritage Centre, The Express, Mareeba Leagues Club, Nextra Mareeba News, TGT Hardware Mareeba and TGT Rural Mareeba.
Mareeba Gift Cards can be redeemed at Mareeba Chamber of Commerce, QITE, Mareeba Heritage Centre, The Express, Mareeba Leagues Club, Nextra Mareeba News, TGT Hardware Mareeba, TGT Rural Mareeba, Moro Auto Repairs, Bruno’s Batteries, Outback Solar & Wind, Blundell’s Classic Ford Museum, Golden Drop Winery, Priceline Pharmacy Mareeba, Mareeba Heritage Café, Claude Cater Mensland, Marama Jewellery, Ida Portella Travel, Mareeba Family Health Care and Mareeba International Club.
