Celebrating our seniors
MAREEBA seniors are invited to celebrate next month and attend a special morning tea hosted by the shire council.
The event will be held at the Mareeba International Club on Friday, 24 October, with bookings now open.
In the lead-up to the event, council is inviting local service organisations to participate in a Services Expo.
“We are calling on services interested in hosting an information stall in the foyer between 9am and 10am, before the Mareeba Morning Tea, to connect with our senior residents,” Mayor Angela Toppin said.
Applications are now open. Spaces are limited so anyone interested is urged to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
