Chance to speak up on roads
TABLELANDERS have the chance to tell their council what they think about the system they use to determine the priority for roads to be upgraded.

Tablelands Regional Council is seeking community input into the review of their Transport Strategy and locals can provide their feedback by 26 October.
“Our Transport Strategy defines the star rating (criticality) and desired level of services of our roads,” Mayor Rod Marti said.
“Our current strategy is due for review and we want to hear from the community about the strategy as a whole and, in particular, about the star rating system and desired levels of service.
“The star rating system is a set of predetermined criteria that identify the criticality of a road that allows for work to be prioritised objectively and consistently.
“The desired level of service helps define requirements relating to upgrades, renewals and maintenance. Your feedback will inform the updated strategy and contribute to the future of roads in our region.”
