Organised by Far North Nomads’ Maureen and Des Lane, and Mareeba Shire Council, Christmas in July is expected to attract hundreds of members of the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia who will be making the trek from all over the country to attend the annual event.

The festivities also provide a significant boost to local businesses.

The event will be held from Thursday-Monday at Davies Park, Mareeba, with all locals and visitors being invited to attend the open day on Sunday from 9am-2pm.

The open day will feature markets, entertainment, and food stalls. There is a gold coin donation entry fee, with all proceeds put towards the Mareeba Mayor’s annual Christmas Appeal.
