Christmas shopping made fun
KURANDA’S traders will go all out to get in the spirit of Christmas this Friday with extended shopping hours and a larger selection than ever assembled of ideal gifts for Christmas shoppers and those seeking a bargain.
The Twilight Trading Kuranda event will be held between the extended hours of 4pm to 8pm.
“The village truly comes alive at twilight – the atmosphere, lights and rainforest backdrop make it a magical place to spend an evening,” Kuranda Tourist Information Centre’s new manager Simone Van Der Zwaag told The Express.
In addition to the extended Christmas shopping hours, there will be plenty to keep all ages entertained with live music, family fun, giveaways, food and drinks, discounts, clay play and even a scavenger hunt for youngsters.
“With extended shopping hours, family-friendly activities, festive treats and live entertainment, it’s set to be a wonderful community night,” Ms Van Der Zwaag said.
