Church to host cowboy concert

ONE of Australian country music’s most respected singer-songwriters will feature at the Country and Western Gospel Concert to be held at the Royals Church in Mareeba this Sunday.

Brendon Walmsley is known for his heartfelt lyrics and compelling storytelling. A Star Maker winner and three-time CMAA Golden Guitar recipient, Brendon’s songs go beyond the surface, offering rich, relatable narratives about life’s highs and lows, the power of love and family, and the quiet strength found in faith.

During the early 2000s, Brendon was a familiar name on the Australian country scene, touring nationally with artists like Troy Cassar-Daley, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, Adam Brand, Tania Kernaghan and Melinda Schneider.

Now, Mareeba has the chance to see him perform this Sunday at the Royals Church at 9 Park Avenue from 6pm. The concert is free and everyone is welcome.
