Colour for a cause
NEARLY 200 people helped to raise over $3,500 at Tableland Community Link’s (TCL) colour run, walk and roll-athon at Tinaroo recently.
The efforts of 180 people to raise money and have fun at the community group’s event saw $3,626 raised, including a $1,500 donation from Tablelands Regional Council.
The funds will go directly towards programs and activities at The Grove, TCLs activities centre, helping them provide inclusive and engaging opportunities for people of all abilities.
“It was such a wonderful morning – beautiful weather, the energy, smiles, and community spirit were incredible,” event organiser Carrie de Brueys said.
“Seeing so many people turn up, get involved, and support our event really highlights the strength and warmth of our Tablelands community.
The money we raised will make a significant difference to our ability to continue delivering services, running events, and supporting the community.
“From staff, families and volunteers to local businesses, everyone played a part in making the day so special. We can’t wait to do it all again in 2027.”
