MAREEBA’S Nate Moule has been fighting a battle against malignant brain tumours since his birth and is always at the forefront of his families concerns.
On Friday however his sisters, Georgia and Jessica Brettell were the ones in the spotlight with a plethora of presents being gifted to them from businesses in Mareeba and Cairns.
Mum Katie Moule said that her daughters have been doing it just as tough through Nate’s journey.
“My girls have been the forgotten ones over the last two years while Nate has been incredibly spoilt,” she said.
“It’s about spoiling the girls and making sure they have a great Christmas.
“Nate’s health has deteriorated a lot so it was mainly supporting the girls through this really hard time and uplift their spirits.”
The day was made extra special as last Friday, December 4 was also Georgia’s 17th birthday.
