ARNOLD Park in Mareeba is set to display dozens of cultures from across the world, with the Mareeba Multicultural Festival making a comeback this weekend.

The well known Festival was forced to cancel last year due to COVID, but this year promises to be better than ever.

Mareeba Multicultural Festival President Jennifer Murat said that they are very excited to go ahead on the weekend.

“It's really exciting for us and it is really good to hold the festival this year with a lot of public interest,” she said.

“We have our regular stalls this year including the Italians, Spanish and Albanians as well as some Indian food and a Brazilian BBQ.

“It is a great day for everyone to come along, with social distancing rules applied and a QR Check in QLD code.”

The Festival will run from 10am-4pm this Saturday, August 28 at Arnold Park in Mareeba.
