Express managing director Carl Portella and FNQ Growers chair Joe Moro presented the three winners with cash prizes and a certificate.

Chewko grower Andrew Gould took out the first prize of $500 with a whopping 2.068kg Kensington Pride Mango that he entered just a day before the competition closed.

Milan Maloberti took out second place, earning himself $300 with his 1.546kg mango, with Leslie Jeffery taking out third place with a 1.385kg mango which was rewarded with $200.

Mr Portella thanked sponsors FNQ Growers and Lindsay Rural and Lindsay Transport for their support of the competition which has been going for several years.

Once again, the KP Mango Competition was a huge success, with many participants from both farms and residential homes entering their largest Kensington Pride variety of mangoes.
