Your Entrepreneur Project (YEP) Cairns will be hosting a two-day business bootcamp for locals of any age group interested in business innovation.
The YEP Innovation Boot Camp will be an opportunity for anyone thinking of starting or expanding a business and also learning how to turn big ideas in realities.
By the end of the workshop, participants would have learnt more about understanding business investments and have a new perspective of the entrepreneurial world.
YEP Entrepreneurship Facilitator Kate Montgomery says that 2021 is the year for innovation and to pitch your big ideas.
“The bootcamp will simply help people with ideas to pitch them together, to start a business or even expand on a business they already have,” she said.
“These people will team up and work on the idea they have in mind and dissecting each other’s skill sets to make it work,
“We will also learn how to make an investment and how to improve on what the business already has,
“The workshop will help participants with creating websites, Facebook pages, logos, branding and look into market validations.”
After working together, participants will pitch their ideas to a board, which will be judged in a ‘pitching competition’.
The workshop will offer four two-hour webinar sessions in the lead up to the boot camp itself giving more insight into what the program will be about.
The online seminars will be held on March 16, 18, 22 and 24 from 5.30pm – 7.30pm with a Q&A at the end and can be accessed through Facebook on https://www.facebook.com/events/179096200420363
The Innovation Bootcamp will be March 26-28 at the Tablelands Disaster Coordination Centre with food and beverages provided.
