DREAM JOB: Office junior Ellie Fink is the newest edition to The Express Newspaper team as she currently juggles her year 12 studies and her dream job.

THE Express Newspaper welcomes the newest edition to our team with Mareeba State High School senior, Ellie Fink.

Ellie has been working here at The Express for the past couple of weeks and you may have already seen her name on a couple of stories.

She is currently an Office Junior until she graduates high school and is enrolled into University to become a Cadet Journalist.

Being a Journalist is a dream for Ellie and now she feels that she finally has a foot in the door.

“I’ve always been interested in the news since I was a little kid, I love watching the news and what’s going on in the world,” she said.

“I was inspired by my great grandmother who was a Journalist and a Columnist in Trinidad and Tobago.

“Working at a newspaper is definitely not what I expected it to be but it’s everything that I have hoped for.”
