Community hub ignites
OVER 120 people came through the doors of Ignite Community Hub when it held its grand opening in Mareeba last week.

The recently established hub was set up by Shana and Jenna Aue as a place where people can “come to connect, learn, and grow”. The many locals who stopped in on the day enjoyed a free haircut from Ignite Cuts Academy, grabbed some fresh food, or connected with other members of the community. The team took to social media following the event to show their gratitude to everyone who turned up.
“To see so many people show up and support the opening of Ignite Community Hub honestly exceeded our expectations,” a Facebook post read.
“Over 120 people came through and the atmosphere all day was full of joy, encouragement, laughter, and genuine community. There’s been a lot of behind-the-scenes work, challenges, faith, and sacrifice to get to this point, so seeing the space filled with people was a huge blessing.”
