Concerts for youth orchestra

THE talent of the Cairns Youth Orchestra will be for all to see at two upcoming Tablelands concerts.

The orchestra will perform at public concerts in Yungaburra and Atherton later this month, as well as giving a private performance to those who live at Carinya Home for the Aged.

The Yungaburra concert will be held at the town hotel’s ballroom on 12 September from 4pm-5pm, while the Atherton event will be at the Atherton Performing Arts Silo Theatre on 13 September from 3.30pm-5pm.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for aged pensioenrs and children (aged 5–17) Children under 5 enter for free.
