Cricketers celebrate
AFTER another competitive season in the Cricket Far North competition, the Atherton Cricket Club held its annual end-of-year presentations which saw First Grade captain Tom Boorman take out Player of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.

The recent presentation ceremony highlighted player achievements from throughout the season including most runs, most wickets, and best overall player, as well as centuries and five-wicket hauls.
The Atherton club is always in the mix among the top teams in the competition, and this year it’s First Grade side finished in fourth spot with six wins and six losses.
The celebrations were enjoyed by players, coaches, family, and friends.
